Alum Chine Beach
Alum Chine Beach is situated just a mile west of Bournemouth. It has a beautiful wide stretch of golden sand backed by colourful little beach huts and lush tropical gardens. Don't forget to spend some time at its popular island themed adventure park too!
This bead was inspired by the light golden sands of Alum Chine beach and its tropical garden backdrop. We used white glass for the base of the bead which is then rolled in a unique blend of frit that we mixed especially for Alum Chine. Once the frit has melted in, it is then swirled with a tool to create flower like patterns and swirls on the surface.
