Newgale Beach Bead

The amazing beach at Newgale in Pembrokeshire is one of largest and most popular in the area. With miles of beach to explore, you can find your own space for a surf or picnic.

We were inspired by the deep blue sea washing up onto the high pebble bank at high tide so we decided on a half half technique using shades of dark grey and cobalt blue glass. The centre of the bead is then rolled in opal white glass shards which are left proud on the surface of the bead to represent the white water splashing onto the pebbles.
