Southbourne Beach Bead

Southbourne Beach is one of Bournemouth’s favourite beaches situated in the west away from the busier town centre and pier. It is a beautifully sandy beach. Above the beach is the Fisherman's walk nature trail. It is possible to surf Southbourne with the right conditions although it is not known for its surf. It is popular with swimmers and water sports.

 Our pretty Southbourne Bead is inspired by its long stretch of sand and grass coastline. We have achieved this by making a half and half bead in light ivory green glass. The two colours are then twisted when hot to create a wave shape depicting the sea rolling up the shore. The bead is then tumbled to give it a lovely matt finish.
