Tobermory Bead

The famous fishing port of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull in Scotland, is renowned for its vibrant colourful harbour cottages and picturesque scenery.

We wanted to capture the colour of the sea against the harbour wall in our Tobermory bead so used a bright transparent turquoise glass and a dark mottled ivory colour glass and left the joint of the two uneven and craggy. We then roll the bead over a colourful blend of frit to represent the harbour houses.
